Mayday Mayhem WildKardz Elite

Teams, thank you for supporting our tournament this weekend. The competition was great. Congratulations to all of the division champions on your hard faught wins. I also want to thank everyone for being flexible with the schedule.

I wanted to share the link for our June 13th tournament. It is a 2-day tournament at the same location. We are going to limit this to 21 teams to ensure we complete pool play on Saturday for all age groups. There are currently 5 spots available for the tournament.

Warriors Diamond Bash

A reminder that this tournament is not being played at Chichester Park. Chichester Park is currently closed. We will be at Willowmere Park (21 Willowmere Pond Rd). I am attaching a map of the park.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend and having a fun and safe weekend.

Willowmere Park does have a drop dead time. The park lights are turned off at 9:15pm. This shouldn't be a concern, but please be mindful of how quickly you move from field to field between games or vacate dugouts for the next game. Plan to be ready if a game is able to start ahead of schedule we will try to do so.

Music is allowed, but be mindful of other games and try to keep the volume at a level that is not heard at all of the fields. Umpires and tournament staff can ask you to stop playing if it is a problem.

Please make sure all of your players are in alignment with the Babe Ruth Age Chart. It is in alignment with other organizations like USSSA and USA Softball.

Players are only eligible to be on one roster during the tournmant. This includes across age groups. Once they play for a team, that is the team they will be considered rostered on for the remainder of the tournament. If a player plays for a second team, the second team will forfeit the games that the player was in the lineup.

The schedule for Mayday Mayhem has gone live. If you saw it earlier today, we needed to make some adjustments due to a last minute registration. The even is now full. We should have a busy weekend. To assist with time between games please vacate the dugout once your game is completed to allow us to start the next game. If we are able to start a game early we will try to do so.

We will be at Willowmere Park in Stafford, VA. 21 Willowmere Pond Rd., Stafford, VA 22556. We will use fields 2, 3, and 4 for all of our games. We will have food trucks, concessions for drinks, chips, and candy, and t-shirts for sale.

I have attached the house rules for the tournament. Anything not specifically outlined in the document will follow Babe Ruth Softball rules.

The lights will turn off at Willowmeree at 9:15pm. Everyone must be on there way out immediately following the last game.

If you still need to pay your tournament fees, please do so by April 18th.

We will be changing park locations from our usual spot at Chichester Park. Stafford County is closing the park to make upgrades to the fields.
