2026 Summer Fun Kickoff Softball Tournament

To register for the 2026 Softball Tournament, you must secure your team's place by first registering online at softball.exposureevents.com/organizations/18971/afa-softball then complete this form and submit with entry fee. Team spots are not guaranteed until all items are completed, and payment is received in full. Teams must be registered with AFA Softball to participate. Entry deadline: Wednesday, April 29, 2026, by 5 p.m., or until full. Tournament Dates: Friday, May 22 - 25 (Memorial Day Weekend) This tournament starts on Friday. Team Fees: $750 per team for 4 game guarantee Divisions: 12U, 14U, and 16/18U Games will be played at Discovery Park, Settlers Park, and other local fields The schedule will be posted by Monday, May 18th on softball.exposureevents.com/organizations/18971/afa-softball and a email to follow. Make sure all players and coaches have proper certifications or they will not be in the dugout. Each team must register their team with AFA Softball and provide an Official Softball Roster. Once, paperwork is completed follow the below steps to make payment. Team spots are not guaranteed until all items are completed, and payment is received in full. Phone-In - Call 208-888-3579 and pay over the phone with a credit card after emailing in your registration form and roster to recreation@meridiancity.org Walk-In - Come into our office at 33 E. Broadway Ave., Suite 206, and pay in person with cash, check, or credit card. Mail-In - Mail your registration form and payment to 33 E. Broadway Ave., Suite 206, Meridian, ID 83642. (Must be RECEIVED by the deadline.)

General Information

• AFA and the City of Meridian will work together on scheduling of the tournament. The event will be posted in the AFA app. Teams will get all their game times for pool and bracket play in the app. The app will also be used for messaging teams and coaches with tournament updates. 

Rules 

AFA birth cut offs. Sept 1st to Aug 31st 

1 hour 30 min finish the inning 

2 umpires per game. 3 umpires for championship is up to the City of Meridian 

• All AFA events are not a stay to play 

Tournaments will be played under AFA rules. Modified for this tournament only. Pool play: Teams will be allowed to bat their roster. Bracket play will be AFA rules 

Rosters and insurance will be provided 1 hour before the teams 1st game
