Hello Coaches,

You are receiving this email because you are currently signed up to play in one or more USA Softball events and are not yet registered as a USA Softball team Please be advised that USA Softball Compliance must be completed no more than 30 days prior to the start of the event (unless otherwise specified) in order to make sure your spot is secure. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event.

Below are the instructions for the two ways you can register. Please note that if you choose the individual sanctioning option, it will provide you with full USA Team insurance as well as an event discount. If you are receiving this email prior to payment, please send an email to EL1softballtournaments@gmail.com requesting your discount code once registration is complete.

Once your team is registered, coaches will be required to complete background checks and SafeSport. Players over the age of 18 will also be required to complete Safesport. These tasks must also be completed prior to 30 days before the start of the event.

Individual Registration (USA Insurance) Instructions ($19/player):
1. Go to https://co2.registerplay.com/
2. Login or create an account
3. Click on “Teams” at the top of the page and then select “My Teams.” If you have an existing team, click the up arrow next to the year under “sport season.” If you do not have an existing team, select “create a team” on the right and follow the prompts to create your team
4. Under Sanction Options, select Individual Sanction/Registration. From there you can select how you want your registration to be paid. These options include each player and coach pays individually, you as the team representative pay for all players and coaches, you as the team representative pay for all coaches but players pay individually, or you as the team representative pay for all players but coaches pay individually.
5. You will then be asked for a card to pay with and then you can create your team.

Team Sanction (Independent Insurance) Instructions ($40/team):
1. Go to https://co2.registerplay.com/
2. Login or create an account
3. Click on “Teams” at the top of the page and then select “My Teams.” If you have an existing team, click the up arrow next to the year under “sport season.” If you do not have an existing team, select “create a team” on the right and follow the prompts to create your team
4. Under Sanction Options, select Team Sanction.
5. You will then be asked for a card to pay with and then you can create your team.
6. It will ask you to provide a copy of your team insurance.
