We are running late to start the Derby. We are planning to kick it off at 1pm. Yha k you everyone!

Good Evening, Just a quick note about Homerun derby this weekend. At Bennett Park we will set up a Homerun Derby on the small "tee ball field" between the 2 main fields on Saturday. There will be trophies for the winner of each division. The Derby will run from 12 noon until 5pm. Its first come first served, $5 gets you 10 pitches, and any tournament player can enter as many times as they like.
Its alot of fun, and we are hopeful everyone will go over and have a great time seeing who can hit the long ball the best. I bet you all will be surprised at who wins it all!

Good Evening Blingers! If you missed out on the preordered tournament shirts, or if you decided you like to order more, have no fear. Attached is a link to the store that you can order tournament swag from. The store will remain open until July 22, 2024 and will close at midnight of that evening. Shirts will be shipped directly to your door after the tournament, or for those that live close to a Sandlot Apparel location you can pick it up. Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend!

General Information
Sandlot Sports Zone is proud to introduce Sandlot tournaments into the Owosso Area. We are not affiliated with any tournament or softball organizations that ran tournaments in this community previously. Owosso and the surrounding community is a beautiful place to spend a weekend playing softball, and in recognizing that, we couldn't be more excited to be able to host your teams this summer.
We invite you to the quaint and historic small town of Owosso Michigan. Here you will find great local fields that are well maintained, and a tournament that has high level competition. Change is good, and if given the chance, we aim to provide the type of tournament that makes you want to come back year after year.
The Underhand Sling for the Bling. A youth fastpitch tournament that only has one goal. To provide a fun, safe, and competitive enviroment, that honors the commitment of the athletes to playing at the highest level possible. Oh, lets not forget some bling to the winners!!!
