As of now all fields have been checked and we are good to go. Teams are warming up. This is a reminder that all games today are 1:20 no new. Please hustle your teams on and off the field, so we can get as much softball in as possible. Good luck to all teams today.
We also want to complement the teams in this tournament on great sportsmanship so far. Let's keep that going!

Thank you for your patience in allowing us to update the schedule from the rain delay this evening.
All games on Friday, June 16th will be 1:20 no new. Please check updated schedule and refresh the app at 11:25pm to make sure that you have the most up to date version.

Hello all,
We are adjusting the re-start time to 9:00 pm. The fields are holding up well and we expect most of the storm to have passed. With all games having less than an hour to go we should be able to finish tonight.
In addition, we are monitoring the weather for tomorrow and formulating a plan. Tonight's 7pm slot...will be our first games tomorrow. We will know tomorrow's time later tonight.

Hello everyone,
We will resume the 5:00 pm games tonight at 8:30 pm. Games that were scheduled for 7:00 pm will be moved to our first slot tomorrow. We will continue to monitor the weather and a new schedule will be posted late tonight. Our staff will be at the fields finishing tonight and the schedule will come out as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience.

Good morning all,
We have just released the AFA 2023 Nationals schedule. We made a few slight changes over night, so please refresh and make sure you see your times. This event is filled with quality teams and we hope your team has a wonderful experience. Please check back on the AFA app and or AFA app Monday night at 8 pm MDT to see if there are any changes.
AFA would like to remind you that there is a zero alcohol and smoking policy. City officials visit the park and any team caught violating these rules may forfeit the rest of the tournament. There is no drinking allowed in the parking lots. We also want to remind you that good sportsmanship goes a long way.
Rules, roster forms, and things to do can be found on the AFA app under documents. Each location will have food and souvenir shirts for sale.
Check in should be done one hour before your first game at the AFA booth. You will need a copy of your printed roster with parent signatures and a copy of your insurance to turn in. Please carry your birth certificates with you.

All posted game times are Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)
Please bring your completed Roster, Proof of Insurance, and legible copies of all players Birth Certificates or Legal Documents of Age.
Any player who has been tested for Covid and has not received results is ineligible to play. We urge any player, coach, or fan who is feeling ill to stay home.
Message from AFA National Director, Glen Messick
Welcome to the 2023 AFA Nationals in beautiful St. George, Utah. It is our hope that this event will provide your team with a fond, lasting memory of this year’s softball season. At AFA, we take pride in putting on great events at a reasonable price. It is our hope that this event helps your team improve and helps the players towards reaching their goals of playing in college. There will be 4 pool play games into a double-elimination tournament. All games will have two umpires. Gold division semi-finals and finals are 7 innings for divisions 12u -18u, 8u-10u will be 6 innings.
First and second place will receive rings in gold divisions. 3rd and 4th place will receive 🏅in gold divisions.
This field in each division is always highly competitive and we expect to see some outstanding softball played. Please remember to exercise great sportsmanship.

Note: For the 2022-2023 season all 10u tournament rules will be the same as the older divisions except for the 11″ ball and 35′ pitching distance.
